Nickel Electroplate 
Nickel serves as the base coating for all electroplated finishes. On its own, it has an attractive and durable silver-tone finish. Nickel will be bright when it leaves the factory, but over time will darken slightly.

Rhodium Electroplate
Rhodium is a bright and brilliant precious metal finish that is silver-tone in color and will not tarnish. Rhodium is a very popular finish because of its awesome, long-lasting color and durability.

Gold Electroplate 
A high-carat gold (22K+) is applied over the nickel base coating. While hardeners are added to the gold to increase its durability, gold may show some wear over time as it is an inherently soft material.

Sil-Ray™ 
A proprietary plating process whereby layers of silver-tone material are applied over highly polished brass. A hard protective coating is baked onto the surface of the badge. This brilliant silver finish has a traditional look and will stand the test of time.

Gol-Ray™ 
The most durable gold finish begins with the application of multiple layers of gold through an electroplating process. We then apply a hard-baked protective clear coat to lock it in. The result is a gold finish that, with proper care, will maintain its brilliance for many years.

Cote d'Or 
Cote d’Or, also known as Heavy Gold Electroplate, is a thick coating of 24k gold applied over a nickel base coating. Cote d'Or is considered a decorative finish and is popular for medals and badges used for plaques or presentations. For brilliance, choose Cote d'Or, but for maximum durability we recommend Gol-Ray.

Let’s start by defining a center seal. The center seal is the small round emblem typically located in the center of the badge. These emblems are made of metal and frequently have color (enamel) added.

We have several seals pre-designed to fit most organizations, but we can also create a center seal to meet your needs!

A custom center seal is a center seal that is designed specifically for your organization. A custom center seal will most commonly be designed based on a city/town seal, department patch, or company logo.

The cost of a center seal depends on the quantity of badges ordered at the time:

CAD:

1 to 4: $700.00

5 to 9: $490.00

10 to 14: $420.00

15 to 24: $350.00

25+: FREE

Once we have the design and die made for your seal, any future orders will not have additional design and die fees. The seals price would reduce to normal seal pricing.

Our design software does not add the cost of custom seals to the cart so if purchasing custom seal options will be applied after the order based on the quantity of badges ordered.

We manufacture each badge in our highly efficient 27,000 square foot facility in White Plains, New York

This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you.

Each badge is made to order and goes through a minimum of 27 manufacturing steps with many badges requiring over 40.  We use highly sophisticated software to efficiently manage production so that we can get your badge on its way to you in an average of 6 weeks. To allow for processing, shipping and the possibility of a few extra days in production, and possible delays crossing the border at customs, we advise customers to allow up to 8 weeks for delivery.  

Rush production service is available for a fee. 

Although we strive to make highly realistic Mockups of your badge with our badge customizer, please note colours may vary with finish etc as well as text placement may vary from the generator etc. All badges will be produced with the highest quality guidelines and workmanship in North America.
